Which SSDs can I use in the Mac Mini Docking Station?

The following SSD cards can be used provided they are NVMe and do not have a HeatSink, otherwise the SSD will be too tall and will not fit in the enclosure.

How much extra memory can I add in GB?

The maximum supported SSD card is 8TB in the docking station

Does this work with an external monitor?

Yes! Via the HDMI port, you can connect an additional display up to 4K and 60Hz

Does the docking station require external power and which cables are included?

The Mac Mini Docking Station from iMounts has the option to connect an external power adapter. For normal use, this is not necessary, as the required power is supplied via your Mac Mini (without overload).

If you connect multiple power-intensive devices and, for example, charge devices via the extra ports of the docking station, it is advisable to connect an external 15W power adapter. This ensures that everything continues to function properly and efficiently.

An additional USB-C to USB-A cable is included, in addition to the USB-C to USB-C cable that connects to your Mac Mini.
